Samsung’s next flagship devices – Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be launched on 21 February in Barcelona at the biggest smartphone event of the year – MWC 2016. Many are wondering when they will be able to order the device. A leaked source has given away the details of the date after which you will be able pre-order both the devices.
Surprisingly, pre-orders will begin from February 21 itself for both Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. And a sweetener to this deal is Samsung will offer free Gear VR along with the pre-order (only till March 10).
Although the pre-order starts on February 21, Samsung will set the shipping date to March 11. This matches with the original release date of the device.
Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a 5.2″ display with QHD resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820/Exynos 8890 processors depending on the region. Samsung will finally bring back the beloved expandable memory feature for the S7 after it went missing for a number of years.
Galaxy S7 Edge will have the same specs as S7 except for a curved display and a bigger 5.5″ screen size and QHD display.
