Samsung is planning to release yet another device in the coming months – and this time its a huge 10.5″ tablet with an AMOLED screen. This tablet is dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S.
The Galaxy Tab S comes with some heavy specifications especially for a tablet. As mentioned before, it will have a 10.5″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 5420 CPU with four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S will have a 8-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/GLONASS, and LTE connectivity, an IR blaster, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Samsung is returning to OLED tablets after a long gap. They have decided to keep the same design as found in the Samsung Galaxy S5. The back will have a perforated leather look while you will see a multitasking key rather than the menu key on the left of the home key.
There is no official word from Samsung on the release date and the pricing of the tablet.
