Samsung has released the second generation Galaxy Mega phone in India – the Galaxy Mega 2. It is the successor of both the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Mega 6.3. For this years device, Samsung is going with only a single size device instead of two sizes.
Galaxy Mega 2 comes with a 6-inch display with 720p HD resolution and packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor under the hood, paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Other specs include 16GB of internal storage capacity, microSD card support for additional memory, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2.1-megapixel front shooter, and a 2,800 mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 802.11n Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and an IR blaster. It will run on Android 4.4.3.
