In the last decade, flip phones were very common. But since the smartphone era has begun, we can barely see any flip phone. Now this is set to change as Samsung has unveiled a flip phone. Samsung have considered this project seriously and made it a high-end device.
Samsung W2016 has most specs borrowed from Samsung Galaxy S6. What makes it different is the dual display. Both the displays will be 3.9-inch 1280 x 768 AMOLED displays.
Specs include an Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The rear camera is 16MP, while the front one is 5MP. The device runs the Chinese version of Samsung’s TouchWiz, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. There’s also wireless charging, a 2000 mAh battery, and dual-SIM LTE. Another addition is the T9 keyboard in the flip device.
Samsung W2016 will be available in Gold and Silver colours. This phone will be released only in East Asia. Pricing details of this device is not available as of now.
