Samsung has planned to add two new smartphones – Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7. Both these smartphones will fall in the mid range category. They will become the first devices in the new E-series and will be on the lines of Galaxy A3, A5 and A7.
Galaxy E7 will have a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720p. It will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front facing camera, 16GB of internal storage and a 2,950mAh battery.
In comparison E5 will cost less and as a result the specs will also be a bit lower. The E5 will have a 5″ display, 8 megapixel rear camera and a smaller 2,300mAh battery. Other specs will remain the same. Both phones will have a non removable battery.
With a host of mid range smartphones to be released by Samsung soon, they are trying to recover the lost ground during the 2nd half of 2014.
