Samsung has started distributing media invites for the launch of the new Galaxy smartphone – Galaxy K. Previously known as the Galaxy S5 Zoom, Samsung has given it an official name.
There have been ongoing rumors about this phone since a few days. Galaxy K is expected to come with a 20.2 MP primary camera (5184 x 3888), 10X optical zoom and 4.8″ Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. However the primary camera wont support 4K video recording. Galaxy K will also have a 2 MP secondary camera. The front facing camera will also support full HD video recording.
The Galaxy K will have an Exynos 5 hexa-core chip, although the clock frequency is not revealed yet. Along with this CPU, it will have a 2 GB of RAM and a Mali-T624 GPU. There will be 16 GB of internal storage and the device will run on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
As stated before, Galaxy K will be unveiled on 29th April but the pricing details are not out yet.
