Samsung has officially announced that it is set to slash the prices of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. This hints at the arrival of new flagship and it is set to be Samsung Galaxy Note 5. There are plenty of rumours surrounding Note 5 and this announcement will only confirm those rumours.
Along with Note 5, Samsung is also expected to launch Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Samsung’s latest announcement suggests that the company’s next-gen flagship devices could be launched at the “Unpacked” event scheduled to be held on 13 August in New York.
Some of the specs of Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have been leaked – 5.7in curved display, Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, 16MP rear camera and 4GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will have almost the same specs. But Galaxy S6 Edge Plus wont have the S-Pen which will only remain with the Note series. Stay tuned for more updates!
