These ads have revolutionized the concept of wearable technology and one of the ads named “Evolution” displays prototypes of smartwatches representing them from different sci-fi shows like Dick Tracy, The Jetsons, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Inspector Gadget. Hereafter, Samsung characterizes this innovation with an interesting tagline called “After all these years, it’s finally real.”
The subsequent ad displays scenes from a show called “A Long Time Coming” which represents these feature characters talking to their watches after which the Samsung Galaxy Gear is pictured with the tagline “The Next Big Thing is Here.”
In order to boost its sales with respect to the new-fangled innovation, Samsung has managed to create a fictitious view of these smartwatches. All in all this can be attributed to some creative marketing strategies by the Korean giant. The smartwatch is priced at $299 and hence some unique marketing approach will go a long way in attracting fair share of consumer market.
