Sony launched the mid range device Xperia P way back in 2012. It was a great device at that time offering decent specs. Now after 3 years, Sony are set to launch the successor of this device – Xperia P2 and this will be a high end device.
The Xperia P had a unique design. It had a semi-transparent band towards the bottom of the device on which there were Home, Back and Menu buttons. According to the rumours, Sony is set to continue this design for the Xperia P2.
Now, coming to the specs, Xperia P2 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a 12.1MP rear camera, a 5.1MP front camera, and a positively huge 4,240 mAh battery. This huge battery may become a selling point for the P2.
If the rumours turn out to be true, then this will be one impressive device and it might resurrect Sony’s market share which is declining rapidly with time.
