With reports trickling in continuously from South Korea, it is believed that Samsung will unveil the third-generation Galaxy Note Smartphone on 4 September. Based on a few other sources, it is speculated that Samsung will also reveal the “GEAR,” Samsung’s first Android-powered Smartwatch which will be the ostentatious display of Samsung’s elusive smart watch effort.
This itemized revelation will be officially announced at a second unveiling event from Samsung this year, two days before the beginning of IFA 2013 in Berlin, reports one Korean news outlet.
According to rumors, it is believed that the Galaxy Note 3 will feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD 1,920*1,080-pixel resolution, 13-megapixel camera, and Android 4.3. It will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and will comprise 3GB RAM. And Asia Economy News reports that the slated arrival of this product won’t be alone. A wearable product called the Samsung Gear will also be announced at the event.
It is understood that Samsung plans to release such an innovation before its rival competitors mark their presence in the market. Especially, these plans are devised so that Samsung can unveil a wearable product before Apple brings out the iWatch. At present there are no details on the specifications for Samsung’s smart watch project, but it is plausible that the product will run on a variant of the Android operating system.
Considering the leaks as legitimate information, it is viewable that Samsung’s watch will come in a black and white display and thus it will be bear resemblance to the Pebble e-paper smart watch. The leaks also demonstrated that it will have a large time display along-with the availability of a music and mail app.
