Spice Android One

At the Google I/O earlier this year, Google revealed the Android One Program which consisted of launching low end devices in emerging markets. Many Indian manufacturers tied up with Google for this program. Now Spice, an Indian Android manufacturer has launched the first Android One Phone in India.

Spice’s Android One handset will come with a 4.5in IPS LCD display with resolution at 854 x 480 pixels. It will be powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, paired with Mali-400 graphics unit.

The device will pack a five megapixel rear camera and a two megapixel front camera with video recording at 1920 x 1080 pixel. Additionally, it will use a 1,700mAh battery and support dual-SIM functionality. Other key features include Android software version, 4.4.4.

India’s leading e-commerce website has listed this device as Spice Android One Dream UNO. The price of this device is around $100.
