Sprint has come out with a strategy for the Samsung Galaxy S5. They are offering the S5 for $20 a month for 2 years. After that, you can turn it in for another device, pay the remaining balance to own it or cancel the lease program and hand the phone back in.

Same offer is also applicable for the Galaxy S5 Sport and the Apple iPhone 6. Some might think that this is a good deal but there wont be much difference.

Buying on a lease for $20 a month for 2 years will cost you $480 and the price of the device is $649. The difference of around $170 can be recuperated after selling the device after 2 years. So its basically a same deal. It is good for the people who dont want to pay $649 outright.

Existing customers that sign up starting today (and running through Jan) will get an additional $15 month credit each month until January 15th, but after that the pricing will go back up to $20.
