[How to] Install CM 11 (Android 4.4.4) on Google Nexus S

The Samsung Nexus S is Google’s second Nexus device. It was the first Android device to feature Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which has since been updated officially to 4.1 Jelly Bean. Inside, it has a 1GHz single-core Samsung Hummingbird (retroactively renamed Exynos 3 Single) processor with half a gig of RAM. It’s available with 16GB of storage, and it lacks the option to add a microSD card. 

After Android 4.1, Google stopped giving official updates to this device. However you can unofficially update it to the latest Android 4.4.4 update via CM 11 custom ROM. This ROM is still in the development stages but it can be used for day to day purposes. Follow the instructions given below to install it on Google Nexus S.
