[How To] Install Android 4.4 KitKat (AOSPA ROM) on the Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi version

With the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat, users are eagerly awaiting the official update to be released for their devices. Google have listed out a few devices which will soon receive their latest OS. However, this update will still take some time to come out and users are growing impatient day by day. The users of the Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi version tablet, though, have something to cheer about as a Android 4.4 ROM has been released for the device. Developed by the Paranoid Android (PA) team, the ROM is a pure AOSP based one with PA’s own features to be added to it soon.

The Nexus 7 (2013) was launched earlier this year and was the first device to run Android 4.3. It has a 7-inch, 1200 x 1920 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4Pro quad-core chip, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 or 32 GB of internal storage. It is available in two versions: the Wi-Fi version and the LTE version. We have previously seen how to install this ROM on the Nexus 4. Let us now see the steps in installing it on the Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi version.
