Samsung Galaxy S5 was released in 2014 as the flagship device. Galaxy S5 is powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM. Internal storage comes in at either 16GB or 32GB, with a microSD slot up to 128GB. The 16MP camera is capable of 4K video recording and real time HDR photos. Along side the camera flash is a heart rate sensor, which can be used with Samsung’s S Health software. The S 5 has a 2800mAh battery providing power.
Various variants of this device were also released along with the main version. Among the variants, some of them have started receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update and Galaxy S5 Duos SM-G900FD is one such variant. Android 5.0 version with build numbers G900FDXU1BNL3 and G900FDXXU1BNL9 for Malaysia and Russia respectively, include all the Android Lollipop features.
