After Google launched the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, CyanogenMod immediately announced that it had started working on their ROMs for it. And now, their CM 11 ROMs have been released for the new Nexus devices. The first released ROMs were all M snapshot builds which are considered to be more stable than the nightly builds. However, a new nightly build has also been released for the Nexus 5 which may address the issues that might have been present in the previous build and also include the latest Android 4.4.1 in it.
The Nexus 5 was launched a couple of months back along with the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The latest Nexus device features a 4.95″ True HD IPS Plus display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.3GHz quad-core processor and an Adreno 330 GPU. It has 2 GB RAM, 16/32 GB internal memory and 2300 mAh battery. Follow the below steps to install the official CM 11 ROM on your Nexus 5.
