[How To] Install CyanogenMod 10.2 ROM on the International LG G2 (D802)

The LG G2 is the latest device to get the official CyanogenMod 10.2 ROM. Although still in nightly stage, this latest version of the CM ROM is updated to Android 4.3 and new features are regularly added as new nightlies are released. The new nightlies also try to fix the bugs that may be present in the ROM. The CM team is very consistent in releasing new nightlies with a new build being made available almost everyday.

The G2 is LG’s latest flagship device. Launched last month, the G2 has a 5.2 inch 1920 x 1080 True HD-IPS screen, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage but no external memory card slot. The device sports a 13MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front facing camera. It has a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2.2.

The CyangoenMod 10.2 ROM is being made available for many devices as soon as possible with the launch of the next Android version looming ahead. CyanogenMod 10.2 nightlies have started rolling out for numerous devices. These ROMs allow users to run Android 4.3 on their devices. And though the CyanogenMod team have announced intentions of making the installation of their ROMs a bit easier, till that suffices, we have to go by the traditional way of ROM installation.

The HTC One was launched on Verizon network soon after the huge success of the GSM version. It ran on Android 4.2.2 and the latest Sense UI. [How To] Install Official CM 10.2 ROM on Qualcomm based Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505

The CyanogenMod (CM) 10.2 ROMs have now been released for many devices. And though some of the ROMs are still in nightly stages, users get to experience Android 4.3 on their devices through it rather than wait for their device manufacturers to release the official updates.
