Google Now Launched for iOS devices

Google Now is an intelligent personal assistant developed by Google that is available within the Google Search. Google Now uses a natural language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of web services. It was launched on the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS. But now, it is also available on the iOS.

Google released Google Now for iOS through an update to the Google Search app for iOS. Google maintains that the service is exactly the same as Google Now on Android, though certain flourishes like swiping upward to launch the application sadly cannot carry over to Apple’s closed iOS ecosystem.

[How-To] Completely Replace S-Voice with Google Now

Samsung’s answer to Siri, S-Voice, was certainly a big failure. It never recognizes what you say and just randomly does anything that it wishes. Any Galaxy S3 user would agree to the same. But thanks to Google that it came with a very tough competitor to Siri which was named as Google Now and it was integrated in Jelly Bean. And Google Now is simply amazing! Neither S-Voice nor Siri doesn’t stand a chance in its competition. The only problem is that even with the Jelly Bean update to the S3 you cannot completely replace S-voice with Google Now.
