[How To] Update Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (N7100) to leaked Android 4.3 Firmware

Samsung recently announced that it will bring out an update to the Galaxy Note 2 which will enable it to support the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The company said that this update would come out for the device by year’s end along with a similar update for the Galaxy S3. Now however, a leaked firmware for the Galaxy Note 2 (N7100) has revealed that along with the support for the Galaxy Gear, the phablet would also get an Android 4.3 update.

The leaked firmware is still under development and may contain a few bugs. However, on the plus side, it brings about many features for the Galaxy Note 2 that are present in the Galaxy Note 3 and the recently updated Galaxy S4. These include updates in the core UI elements that makes it look more like the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4’s interface. The firmware also includes Samsung Knox and Samsung Wallet.
