[How To] Update Nexus 7 (2012) Wi-Fi version to official Android 4.4

Google’s first tablet device was the Nexus 7 which was launched last year and ran on Android 4.1. It received an update to Android 4.3 later after its successor of the same name was launched earlier this year. And Google announced yesterday that its Wi-Fi edition would also receive the Android 4.4 update along with the Nexus 10 and the Wi-Fi edition of the Nexus 7 (2013). However, instead of waiting for an OTA update to arrive, you can manually install this update either via ADB or via a custom recovery. We already saw how to update the Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi edition tablet to official Android 4.4.
