[How To] Install Official CyanogenMod 11 ROM on the HTC One

The One is HTC’s flagship device launched earlier this year. This 4.7″ powerhouse has a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB RAM, 4 MP ultrapixel rear camera, 2.1 MP front facing camera, 32/64 GB internal memory options and a 2300 mAh non-removable battery. On the software front, it has HTC’s Sense UI, Beats Audio sound enhancement and originally ran on Android 4.1.2, received a 4.3 update couple of months back and will also receive Android 4.4 in the near future.

We had already seen how to install an unofficial version of the CyanogenMod 11 ROM on the One before, as the official ones weren’t released yet. Now, with the official builds out, let us see the steps involved in installing them on the device.
