[How To] Install PACman ROM (Android 4.4.2) on Samsung Galaxy S3 (I9300)

The PACman ROM team have developed the Android 4.4.2 builds of their ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S3 (I9300) which is now ready to download and install on the device. The PACman ROM packs core features from the CyanogenMod ROM, AOKP ROM and the Paranoid Android ROM in addition to their own individuality. Although the builds are nightlies, it is a great way to experience the best features of three ROMs at the same time along with running Android 4.4.2 KitKat on your device.

Launched in 2012, the Galaxy S3 has a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen, 1.4 GHz quad core Cortex-A9 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 MP rear camera and 1.9 MP front facing camera. The internal storage comes with options of 16, 32 and 64 GB with an additional 64 GB which can be expanded by a microSD card. [How To] Install PACman ROM (Android 4.3) on the Sony Xperia Tablet Z

All the major ROM development teams have started developing the Android 4.3 versions of their ROMs. And the PACman team isn’t the one to be left behind in this case. Although dependent on the CyanogenMod ROM, the AOKP ROM and the Paranoid Android ROM for its development, the PACman team have started rolling out their Android 4.3 ROM for various devices. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is one such device to get this ROM.

The Xperia Tablet Z is the tablet counterpart to the Xperia Z series of smartphones from Sony. Launched earlier this year, it was both water resistant and dust resistant. Apart from this, it was also the slimmest and the lightest tablet at the time of its launch. It originally ran on Android 4.1.2 while an Android 4.2 update was planned for it. [How To] Install PACman ROM (Android 4.3) on Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE (N7105)

The PACman ROM packs all the vital features from the Paranoid Android ROM, the AOKP ROM and the CyanogenMod ROM. It also includes some features from Slim Bean, Rootbox and Carbon. It basically tries to cover the much needed features required for a ROM that are open source. As a result, it is one of the most widely used ROMs in the Android community.

[How To] Install PACman ROM on Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505)

The PACman ROM is fast gaining popularity among users because of its ability to combine the features of three ROMs: the Paranoid Android (PA), the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP) and the CyanogenMod (CM). The ROM allows users to choose between PhoneUI, TabletUI and PhabletUI. The PACman ROM can be said to be a hybrid ROM. It combines the features of the three bigwigs among ROMs in the Android community: the Paranoid Android (PA), the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP) and the CyanogenMod (CM) ROMs. This is a huge benefit for users as they can experience the features of these various ROMs at the same time instead of having to choose either of them.

The Nexus 4 originally came with Android 4.2 but later an Android 4.3 update was made available for it. This PACman ROM that we are about to install also provides Android 4.3 with it. It contains all the features of Paranoid Android and CyanogenMod ROMs and some features of the AOKP ROM. It provides the users to choose from Phone UI, Tablet UI or the Phablet UI as per their need.
