[How to] Root Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the 2014 flagship device by Samsung. Without any surprises, Samsung has created a monstrous phone. It has 5.1″ Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy S5 is powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM. Internal storage comes in at either 16GB or 32GB, with a microSD slot up to 128GB. The 16MP camera is capable of 4K video recording and real time HDR photos. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

We have previously seen how to root International Galaxy S5 and T-Mobile Galaxy S5. Chainfire, the developer who gained root access for the above two variants has also managed to root the Sprint version. Do note that while rooting gives many benefits, you will lose your warranty.
