The Android 4.4.1 update has started rolling out for the Nexus 5. This update brings about many improvements to the camera app. Now, the app itself launches faster than before, and also speeds up the framerate, the focus and the white balancing mechanism. Users will now experience less shutter lag and can pinch-zoom the viewfinder in HDR+ mode. The update also fixes the face unlock bug. The update can be directly installed via OTA. If however, your device is yet to receive the update via OTA, you can manually install by adb sideloading it or flashing it via a custom recovery. Follow the below steps to update your Nexus 5 by either of the mentioned methods.
