Google announced that the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets will receive official Android 4.4 updates tonight. These will be the first devices to receive the new Android OS update (not considering the Nexus 5 of course which originally runs on Android 4.4). And while users wait for their devices to receive the OTA update, Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi edition tablet users can manually update their device by downloading the update zip file and installing it on your device. You can install the update either by flashing through a custom recovery (which requires root) or by ADB. So what are you waiting for, go ahead and have a taste of KitKat on your Nexus 7 (2013) Wi-Fi edition tab.
