Verizon has started rolling out the KitKat update for the LG G2. The build number is VS98024A. However this update is not in the form of an OTA (Over The Air) update. To install KitKat on Verizon LG G2, you will need a Windows PC, and also you will also need Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant.

Just connect the LG G2 with the PC using the USB cable and the Software Upgrade Assistant will be available for you. Then you will receive a prompt to install it automatically. Follow all the instructions on the screen and you will get KitKat on your Verizon LG G2.

Although the OTA update is not available at this time, Verizon will make it available in the coming days. The official change log will also be made available in the coming days.

The reviews of the KitKat update have been expectedly good and there is a noticeable improvement in the performance of the phone.
