Samsung’s flagship device of this year – Galaxy S6 will come with many variants. One of those variants is believed to be a dual edge curved display smartphone just like the Galaxy Note Edge. Now the source code of the Vodafone site has shown a name ‘Galaxy S Edge’ and given an unofficial confirmation to this news.
Initially, it was thought that the name of this device will be Galaxy S6 Edge but since Note 4 variant was called as Note Edge we can conclude that the Galaxy S Edge refers to the dual edge curved variant of the Galaxy S6.
The specs of the Galaxy S Edge will remain the same as the original S6 – Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip, a 5.5in QHD screen and a 20 megapixel camera.
Additionally the curved display can be used for various purposes like handling notifications, putting shortcuts on it or even the Twitter feed. It can also act like a virtual desktop, allowing you to switch quickly between several screens.
