A large number of reports have suggested that the 2 new Nexus devices – Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will be released in October. And this news has been confirmed by none other than the Wall Street Journal which claims two to three of their sources have confirmed the news that the release date will be 15th or 16th October.
We have already seen at the leaked specs of the Nexus 6 via the benchmarks. Nexus 6 will have a 5.2in (or 5.9in) quad HD display (560dpi), quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.65GHz, Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
Leaks suggest that the Nexus 9 will feature an 8.9-inch (2048×1440 pixel) display. On its camera front, this tablet sports an 8MP OIS rear shooter and a VGA front-facing camera. Recently, NVIDIA also revealed that the Nexus 9 will be powered by the 64-bit Tegra K1 processor and will weigh around 418 grams. In-built storage capacity will be 16GB, which can also be expanded up to 32GB.
With Android L also releasing along with these devices, this is an exciting period for the Android and Nexus fans.
