Xiaomi launched the Mi 4 last year and it did well but also came in for criticism due to the overheating issues of Snapdragon 810. Now they are going to launch a cheaper version of Mi 4 which will be named Mi 4c and its details are leaked.
Xiaomi Mi 4c appeared in AnTuTu benchmark test which was the source of the leak. It will have a 5″ full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will become with first Xiaomi device to use the hexacore Snapdragon 808 chip clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 418 graphics unit.
Other specs include MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop version 5.1.1, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The cameras will be the same as other Xiaomi devices – 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, with port for Micro USB connectivity.
This device has has also been spotted in TENAA database, the Chinese telecommunications equipment certification centre.
