Xiaomi have launched a couple of devices this year and both have received good response. Now Xiaomi are working on a phablet and it will be the biggest Xiaomi phone till date. It has been appropriately named Xiaomi Max.
Xiaomi Max will feature a 6.4″ display and will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. These specs suggest that Xiaomi Max will be a flagship device.
Reports suggest that Xiaomi are also working on a Xiaomu Redmi Max series which will have 5.2″, 5.7″ and 6.4″ screens. It will give the users options of all the sizes. But instead of Snapdragon 820 processor, Xiaomi will use Helio X25 processor for the Redmi Max series.
With the addition of these 2 series coupled with Mi 5, Redmi 3 and Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi are hoping to sell 140 million devices in 2016. If Xiaomi do not ditch their strategy of offering premium smartphones at affordable prices, then this looks like an achievable goal.
