Android manufacturer Yu have launched a new high end device – Yu Yutopia. This is Yu’s first attempt at making a flagship device. It has some pretty impressive specs at a very reasonable price.

Yu Yutopia has a 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440) display, which is manufactured by Sharp and the pixel density is an incredible 565 pixels per inch. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The internal memory of this device is 32GB which can be expanded to 128GB via a microSD card.

Yu Yutopia features a 21MP rear camera based on a Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor, along with a 5P lens, optical image stabilization and a dual-LED true tone flash. The front camera is 8MP.

Yu Yutopia has a battery capacity of 3,000mAh and it comes with Quick Charge 2.0 technology to take your battery from 0 to 60 percent in just 30 minutes. This device runs on CyanogenMod OS 12.1 which is based on Android 5.1.1.

Yu have announced its Assured Upgrade Programme, which guarantees purchasers a 40 percent cashback discount if they exchange their new Yutopia for a Yutopia 2 in the future.

Yu Yutopia will be sold through Amazon India at a price of $376. Pre-bookings have already opened and Yu will start shipping from December 26.
